Cookie Policy

About this policy

This policy explains how Spell Solutions LLC ("Spell", "we") uses cookies and similar technologies on the Spell Ledger Pro marketing site at spellledgerpro.com. It complements our Privacy Policy. It applies only to the marketing site — the in-app product (after you sign in) uses cookies strictly necessary for authentication, session, and security, and we describe those separately in the Privacy Policy.

What is a cookie?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let the site recognise you across pages, remember preferences, and (with your consent) help us understand how visitors use the site so we can make it better.

Categories we use

1. Strictly necessary

These are required to operate the site — sign-in, session, security, and CSRF protection. They cannot be turned off. We do not use them to track you across other sites.

2. Analytics

With your consent, we use anonymous analytics to understand which pages help visitors most — e.g. how many people read the Spella page vs the Pricing page. We do not use analytics cookies to identify you personally or to share data with advertising networks. We currently do not run analytics by default; if and when we add a provider it will be listed here in advance.

3. Marketing

With your consent, we may use cookies that help us understand the performance of our marketing campaigns (e.g. did a campaign visitor book a demo). Marketing cookies are off unless you opt in via the cookie banner.

Your choices

On your first visit, a banner asks you to accept all cookies, accept only strictly-necessary cookies, or customize per category. You can change your choice at any time by clearing the spell-cookie-consent key from your browser's storage — the banner will reappear on your next visit.

You can also disable or delete cookies entirely from your browser settings. Most modern browsers let you do this per-site or globally. Note that turning off strictly-necessary cookies may break sign-in and other essential features.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is no industry consensus on what to do with that signal, so we honour your in-banner choices rather than the DNT header. If you'd like us to stop tracking, choose "Essential only" in the cookie banner.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time — for example when we add a new analytics provider, or when categories of cookies change in a material way. When we make a meaningful change we bump the consent version, which prompts every visitor to re-confirm their preferences on the next visit.
